Writing Podcast  
I'm sure everyone has heard of podcasts - the free, downloadable 'talk shows' that vary from many different topics. Well, there is also writing podcasts - to help all of us writers out there. One that I like, in particular, is I Should Be Writing. Many of the episodes cover areas that writers have trouble with - such as beginnings and prolouges, for example. Other episodes feature interviews with various writers. If you enjoy any sort of podcast, and you are a writer - whether struggling or not, I highly recommend that you check this out!

Long overdue update  
Venturing into new genres is a scary idea for some writers. For me, it is but another great adventure. Last night, I wanted to write something new, and so I decided that, instead of writing the same fanfics or fantasy story, I would try something different. I would try to write a horror story. I've been itching to try and work my way into the genre, but the fantasy genre kept pulling me back in with new ideas, new characters, and new stories that I just couldn't refuse.
( This is what happens in my brain early in the morning... )

The horror story I am working on is going to be about three children, who venture into the 'house on haunted hill'. Despite their parents' warnings to stay away from the house, the curious children decide that they must find out what lurks inside the house. What they find is something even scarier than they could have imagined: their fears, and nightmares, begin to manifest themselves in the house. The protagonist also finds out a startling truth about himself, but the real question is: can he live with it?

Wow... I'm lazy :D  
It sure has been FOREVER since I have updated this journal lol :D But I PROMISE to change that. Starting today, I will post ALL my writing in this journal, instead of my personal journal. So... if you read any of my fanfiction or original stuff from my personal journal, you should start subscribing/reading this journal instead. ;) Most of it will be song lyrics (for now) until I start posting my other stuff from my personal journal that hasn't been posted here.

Summary: An extended cut of the nail-polish scene from the end of the movie. Susanna says goodbye to Lisa, but then learns it might not be goodbye after all.

The last few times I watched Girl, Interrupted, I loved the idea of the pairing Susanna/Lisa. Just that one small kiss in the movie was not enough for this femslash fan! Oh no! I wanted to make a fic about them for IDF, but I wasn't able to come up with an idea for a fic soon enough (my muse went on vacation, to Pluto probably) and I didn't have my DVD player to watch the movie over and over. Then early this morning my muse returned (without a T-Shirt sadly) and I came up with this:

A new story, finally!  
So after laying awake for awhile last night, I had a great idea for a short Xena/Gabrielle drabble of a fanfic. It sounded hilarious when I was thinking of it, and I hope that you find it funny as well. Enjoy!

Habits meme  
"The rules in this game of tag are simple - once you have been tagged, you must write a blog with ten weird, random things, little known facts or habits about yourself."

I did for my personal journal, but I will do it for this one as well, only it will be writing-related only. And I'm not tagging anyone.

1.I have a habit of making at least one of my characters in every story gay.

2. I don't write mystries, or hetero / boy on boy sex scenes.

3. I write mostly for Xena fanfic, and original fic.

4. I have managed to only write one Mary-Sue character thus far. :)

5. I have about 6, probably more, stories left unfinished, and/or barely started at all. All because of those damn plot bunnies.

Thought I would keep it simple at 5 :)
